Super Saturday Sign-Up's!!!!

Listed below are all the the Super Saturday craft classes that will be offered at our Super Saturday on Saturday the 25th of September.  If you would like to order on this blog please just leave a comment with your order and Missy will get back with you! All orders and payments will be due by September 18th so that those who will be teaching classes will have enough time to prepare and to make sure they have all the supplies needed!

Vinyl Purse/Bag

These vinyl bags are to die for. They are made so you can change out the paper, and ribbon in the handles for any season or holiday. They measure around 8" x 10". I am offering them "bare bones" and you have to provide your own paper and ribbon. You basically have to just do the lacing on the edges which does not take a lot of time. They are great for a purse, scripture bag, or even a quick diaper bag when you don't need to haul everything. Great for all the new moms!!

Magnetic Picture Frames/Recipe Holders 

Taught by Amy Alldredge 

$5/each!

These magnetic picture frames are great for displaying fun snapshots of friends, family, recipies, seasonal pictures, grand kids...the sky is the limit!  They measure 12" long and 8 inches tall. Supplies included are two vinyl words of your choice, i.e: "Family", "Friends", "Recipes", "Trick-or-Treat!", "Gather", etc!  We will be happy to design your word of choice. (Vinyl color choices are black and brown)  Board and Sheet metal are also included.  You will need to bring your own paint for the board.  We will supply brushes and sandpaper.
*3 magnets per project will be included. 

Hand Made Hair Bows!

If you have girls, nieces, granddaughters, or even friends having babies you'll want to be in on this class!  McKenzie will be helping us to learn the art of Hair bow making!  Three basic bow types will be taught:

Basic Bow - .10 cents per bow
Items Needed:
- Ribbon
 - Sewing Scissors
 - Glue gun, & Sticks

2 inch bow (small) - 13" of 5/8" ribbon
3 inch bow (medium) - 17" of 7/8" ribbon
4 inch bow (large) - 22" of 1 1/2" ribbon
3/8", 5/8" of coordinating ribbon for you center knot


*If you would like your clip to be lined with ribbon you will need a 4" piece of 3/8" matching ribbon.


**Special Note: if you would like your clip to be lined with ribbon on any project, you need a 4" piece of 3/8" ribbon that matches your fabric or ribbon.

Twisted Fabric Flower - .5 cents per bow
Items Needed:
- 1" - 3" wide, 21" long piece of any fabric (The "fat quarters" from Joann's work really good, and you don't have to buy as much fabric!)
- Something for center (ie. beads, buttons, it is also cute without anything in the center)
- Glue Gun & Sticks
- Sewing scissors
- Matching felt (1 piece of felt will make 20 - 2" flowers!)
* The length really depends on how large you want your flower. This description makes a 2" flower)

Melted Fabric Flower - .15 cents per bow

Items Needed:
- 1/4 yd. - Synthetic Fabric (ie. satin, silk, organza, etc.)
- Something for the center of flower (ie. beads buttons, brads)
- Sewing scissors
- Small sewing needle
- Glue Gun & Sticks

Items that will be provided:
- Clear thread
- Clips
- Wood burner (to seal ribbon ends)
- Tea Light candles
- Wire 

Personalized  Serving Dishes Taught by Missy Woolley 

$1.50/each!

Don't miss out on this opportunity of personalize your serving dishes!  No more taping your name to the bottom of your dish and hoping you get your good corning ware back from the neighbors!  No more tape melting to your dishes and leaving that horrible residue behind!  This class will be taught by Missy Woolley and all you need to bring is the dishes you would like your name put on.  The dish must measure at least 7" in one direction  and when you sign up be sure to list how many dishes you will be bringing.  A name stencil has to be cut separately for each dish so be sure to calculate $1.50 per dish so we can have enough stencils cut for all the dishes you'll be bringing.  This would make a great gift to go along with the Ward Cook Books the YW will be selling next month!  Stock up and don't forget your family and friends!

Handmade Greeting Cards!  Taught by Becky Thomas

 Flower Cards: (4 1/4 X 5 1/2). Cost $0.75/ea. and will include the envelope.  There will be a variety of colors and sayings to choose from.

 

Small Square Cards: (3 X 3) will cost $0.50/ea. and will include the envelope.  There will be a variety of colors and you can choose from: "Thanks So Much", "Welcome Little One", "Wishing You the Best", "Enjoy Your Day", "For You With Love", or "Happy Holidays"!

Christmas cards: (4 1/4 X 5 1/2) cost $0.75/ea. and will include the envelope.  The colors and options are exactly what are shown in picture.
